Randy Boone

Randy Boone has been playing baseball since he was 4. He got inspired to play baseball by his grandfather. Mr. Boone teaches at Hidden Valley. He has two sons, Hunter and Cody, and they also play baseball. Mr. Boone got his teaching degree at Radford University. He is always busy because he teaches during the day, then in the afternoon he stays after and coaches. During his free time he works for a baseball factory, goes fishing, and hunting, and does other athletic activities. He loves watching his player’s progress.
Mr. Boone cares about his students, and very professional about his job. He said “Coaching you have to let the kids know you care about them before they play, and teaching the same thing you have to let the kids know you care before they work real hard.” Mr. Boone is an amazing mentor. He said, “My middle school and high school coach made me want to help out kids like they helped me.” Mr. Boone said, “The best part about best part about my baseball career is to see the kids go on and be good people.”
Mr. Boone is an amazing teacher and a caring coach. His work with students has made them progress as people and players, and also made him progress as a teacher and coach. Randy Boone’s dedication and personality made him a Hidden Hero!
